How much is it going to cost?

Each organizing project is unique. The length of each project depends on the degree to which you want to be a part of the process, the quantity of paperwork or other items to be organized, and how easily you can make decisions about what to keep and what to eliminate. 

 

We understand your need to control the cost; therefore Absolutely Organized charges an hourly fee.  A typical work session is 3 hours long.  Clients who want to minimize the cost will frequently do some of the organizing themselves in between sessions with Absolutely Organized.  In fact, our goal is for you to internalize organizing skills to use in every aspect of your life, long after your current organizing project is complete!

 

For your convenience, we accept payment by VISA, MasterCard, and personal checks.

 

Rate Schedule, Effective March 1, 2010

 

Home and Small Business Organizing: $195 - $225 per 3-hour session
10% discount for 4 or more pre-paid sessions
 
Personal Bookkeeping: $60 to $65 per hour
 
Travel Fees: None if within 30 mile radius of our office
$10 per session if between 31 & 40 miles
$20 per session if between 41 & 50 miles
$30 per session if between 51 & 60 miles
 
PowerLineSM Organizational Coaching by Phone:
 
$49 per session (pre-paid)
$250 for 6 sessions (pre-paid)
 
Group Presentations: Please call for rates
 
Shopping Service Fees: 25% of cost of products
 
Donation Drop-offs after Organizing Session: No charge

What can I expect during the first on-site visit?

Your professional organizer will meet with you for 3 hours.  She will ask you to read and sign a letter of agreement which includes a confidentiality clause.  (Absolutely Organized will never reveal information about you without your specific, express permission.)  You and your organizer will then tour your home or office to assess your needs for organizing services.  We will help you clearly define your goals for your organizing project.  We will divide your project into logical, sequential action steps to achieving your goals for the project, and will give you a copy of the action plan.  We will spend the remainder of the first 3-hour session executing your action plan.  At the end of the session we will assign you "homework", and/or schedule your next organizing session as desired.  Finally we will collect payment for today's session.

How do I know I can trust you with my things and my confidential information?

Having our clients’ trust is essential to the success and continuation of our business.  We have a number of measures in place to reassure you that we will care for your things and keep your personal information confidential:

q    We agree in writing in the Letter of Agreement not to divulge confidential information.

q       We will never discard your things without your permission.

q       We will never distribute your contact information to anyone without your permission.

q       We are bonded and insured.

q       We can provide you with many personal references.

q      We will not share any information collected on this website without your permission.
